Xilin, alternative name is Yefengtang master, Yefeng Taoist.
Who
is the Yefeng Taoist? As a matter of fact, he is not a monk and a Taoist. The
so-called "Tao", "Chuang-tzu" said: "the people
imitate earth, earth imitate heaven, heaven imitate word, word imitate
nature." Tao is a natural spirit and a natural rule. And the figure
painting is the first thing to pursue of natural without carve. Pan Xilin
regards himself as Taoist, the visible side of his own genuine and sincere. He
took this nickname is nothing more than metaphor for the "Tao" of a
"madman". As a result, there was a lot of wild and arrogance in his
paintings. I often see Pan Xilin's paintings in many works all over the
country.

Because
each piece will have a different flavor, and his paintings are indeed wild; use

The

of fine arts, learned from Guo Yijie, Zhang Lichen, Tian Liming, Jia Youfu, Li
Shijian etc.. Among of them, Zhang Lichen learned from the figure painting
master Pan Tianshou, and Pan Xilin under the tutelage of Zhang Lichen, can be
said that Pan Xilin's figure painting by Pan Tianshou’s painting strong bone,
wild and crazy means.

I
compare Pan Xilin's strokes and finger painting, although the two are mutually
beneficial, but in terms of its achievements is above of strokes. I really hope

The
painting of Pan Xilin’s road is wide, mainly landscape and flower and bird

figure painting is characterized by incomplete antique flavor of gold and
